Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park launches AI industrial accelerator
Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SPARK) has launched the Sharjah Advanced AI Industrial Accelerator. The initiative was announced during the AI Everything Abu Dhabi event.
Designed under the theme ‘Towards the Super Intelligence Era,’ the accelerator aims to transform artificial intelligence research, models, and algorithms into practical industrial applications, products, and scalable businesses. The program seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical intelligence and industrial production.
The accelerator will utilize a twin-track global model. One track focuses on established technology companies and industrial leaders, while an international open call will invite startups, research spin-outs, and AI-enabled industrial companies to apply.
Selected participants will gain access to industrial testbeds, advanced prototyping, fabrication facilities, laboratories, and applied R&D. Additional support includes specialist mentorship, licensing assistance, business setup support, investor connections, and cash prizes. Priority sectors include advanced manufacturing, robotics, smart mobility, healthcare, life sciences, sustainability, and food technology.
