Shark releases new PowerDetect cordless and 3-in-1 upright vacuums

Shark has released new vacuum cleaning systems, including the PowerDetect cordless stick vacuum and a 3-in-1 hoseless upright vacuum.

The PowerDetect cordless model features an automatic Detect mode that adjusts to surface types and dirt levels. It offers a runtime of up to 70 minutes and includes HEPA filtration, though it is noted for being relatively heavy at 8 lbs and having a long recharge time. It is positioned as a mid-range option between budget models and premium brands like Dyson.

The new upright vacuum is described as a 3-in-1 system where the main pod detaches to function as a stick vacuum for tight spaces, while a handheld component handles difficult areas like cornices. This model includes odor-neutralizing technology and various attachments for different surfaces, though users may need to apply pressure to reattach the nozzle.
