Sharks and Try Boys advance to GUB Champs League Grand Finals

In the RL Signs GUB Champs League, the Sharks have advanced to the women’s Grand Final after defeating minor premiers YMCA 84-61 in the Preliminary Final. Cortney Hollowood led the Sharks with 25 points, supported by Jada Button and Georgia Varley. Despite strong performances from YMCA’s Taylah Richards and Harmony Parker, the absence of key players impacted the minor premiers.

In the men’s division, Try Boys secured their place in the Grand Final with an 88-71 victory over Pivot City. Nick Hough paced the scoring with 29 points, while Rohan Jarvie and Seb Thomason contributed 25 and 22 points respectively to seal the win.
