Sharks prepare to host Leinster in United Rugby Championship clash

The Sharks are preparing to host defending United Rugby Championship (URC) champions Leinster at Kings Park. Following a 41-24 victory over the Ospreys, the Sharks look to build on their momentum against the Irish side.

Sharks flyhalf Vusi Moyo is expected to play a pivotal role due to his tactical kicking and composure. Meanwhile, Sharks defence coach Joey Mongalo highlighted the tactical matchup against Leinster senior coach Jacques Nienaber. Mongalo noted that both teams utilize similar defensive systems focused on line-speed, describing the encounter as “fire against fire.”

Leinster arrives in Durban following a narrow 27-26 defeat by the Lions, where they utilized academy players. Mongalo anticipates that Leinster will field a full-strength lineup for this fixture.
