Sharna Burgess returns to Dancing with the Stars amid fiancé controversy

Professional dancer Sharna Burgess has returned to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ for Season 35 after a five-year hiatus. She is competing this season alongside Tyler Cameron and has also debuted a return to her signature red hair through a partnership with hair care brand Amika.

Amid her return to the ballroom, Burgess’s fiancé, actor Brian Austin Green, faced criticism from social media users and series alumni. Green sparked controversy after posting about feeling ‘lonely’ while Burgess works on the show, which some, including former champion Kaitlyn Bristowe, suggested was a public humiliation of Burgess. Green has since issued an apology regarding his remarks.
