Sharna Burgess to return to ‘Dancing with the Stars’ for Season 35
Professional dancer Sharna Burgess has announced her return to the ballroom for the 35th season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The announcement was made on ‘Good Morning America’ and confirmed via the show’s official Instagram account.
Burgess, who previously won the Mirrorball Trophy in 2018 with partner Bobby Bones, has not competed as a professional on the series since 2021. Her return marks her 15th season as a professional on the show. She noted that while she had previously focused on motherhood and other acting projects, she felt ready to return to the competition.
Season 35 is scheduled to premiere with a two-night event on September 15 and 16 on ABC and Disney+. Other confirmed contestants for the upcoming season include Guillermo Rodriguez, Jackson Olson, Maura Higgins, and Ciara Miller.
