Sharon Horgan's new HBO series Youth releases first trailer

The first trailer has been released for ‘Youth’, a new eight-part HBO series created by and starring Sharon Horgan. The show is scheduled to premiere on September 20.

Horgan plays Alex, a 50-year-old divorcee navigating the complexities of romance, career advancement, and the care of her elderly parents. The series also features Aran Murphy, son of actor Cillian Murphy, in the role of Ruari, Alex’s adult son who is transitioning to university life. The trailer highlights the character's personal struggles, including a strained relationship with Ruari’s father and the challenges of balancing family responsibilities.

The supporting cast includes Rupert Friend, Sharlene Whyte, Robbie Gee, Harriet Walter, Anne Reid, and Freddie Fox.
