Sharon Levy exits Endemol Shine North America CEO role

Sharon Levy is departing from her role as CEO of Endemol Shine North America after nearly a decade with the company. Her exit follows the completion of an $8 billion merger between Banijay Entertainment and All3Media in July.

Levy joined the organization in 2017, serving as president for scripted and unscripted television before becoming Chief Content Officer in 2021 and CEO in 2023. During her tenure, she oversaw the production of various major titles, including ‘MasterChef’, ‘LEGO Masters’, ‘Deal or No Deal Island’, ‘Wipeout’, and the Netflix series ‘Ripley’.

The departure is part of a broader reorganization as Banijay integrates All3Media. Ben Samek, CEO of Banijay Americas, will oversee the combined company’s U.S. entity. Banijay describes the newly merged group as the largest independent television producer in the world, operating in 25 countries with a massive content catalog.
