Sharon Osbourne Announces Ozzfest Return to Birmingham's Villa Park in 2027

Sharon Osbourne, manager and widow of Ozzy Osbourne, announced that the Ozzfest hard‑rock festival will be revived in 2027 at Villa Park, the home stadium of Aston Villa Football Club in Birmingham, United Kingdom. She said the event could run for two nights if fan demand warrants it. The venue previously hosted Ozzy Osbourne's final performance on 5 July 2025. Osbourne noted that after the Birmingham edition the festival may expand to North America and that a touring version could be considered for 2028 if interest remains. She also hinted at possible appearances by veteran artists such as Rob Halford of Judas Priest. Ozzfest, which began 30 years ago, has not toured the U.S. since 2007, and its last edition was a one‑night New Year’s Eve show in Los Angeles on 31 December 2018, drawing 12,465 fans and generating about $1.2 million in ticket sales.
