Sharon Osbourne defends Marilyn Manson against abuse allegations

Sharon Osbourne has publicly defended musician Marilyn Manson against ongoing sexual assault and abuse allegations. During an episode of ‘The Osbournes’ podcast, Osbourne stated that she does not believe the accusations made against him and described him as a great artist and a friend.

Osbourne argued that the nature of the allegations should be viewed in context, suggesting that individuals were aware of Manson’s persona. She also claimed to have personally witnessed an interaction involving one of the women currently involved in legal proceedings against him.

Manson has denied all allegations and has not been criminally charged, following a long investigation by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s sexual crimes unit. However, he faces several civil lawsuits, including a case brought by former personal assistant Ashley Walters regarding alleged sexual harassment and violence occurring between 2010 and 2011. While Manson has reached settlements in some previous cases, other legal challenges remain active.
