Sharon Stone recreates iconic Basic Instinct scene for ELLE magazine

At 68 years old, actress Sharon Stone has recreated the famous interrogation scene from the 1992 film ‘Basic Instinct’ for the Spanish edition of ELLE magazine. The photoshoot, marking the magazine's 40th anniversary, features Stone in a green coat, referencing the role of Catherine Tramell that brought her international fame.

In an accompanying interview, Stone reflected on her career and the challenges she faced following a massive stroke and brain hemorrhage in 2001. She noted that while she successfully recovered, the medical event had a devastating impact on her professional life, stating that job offers diminished because the industry often penalizes women for health issues.

Stone also revisited the controversy surrounding the original film scene, previously claiming she was misled by director Paul Verhoeven regarding the lack of undergarments during filming. Despite past tensions, she expressed that she does not regret her involvement in the film.
