Actor Sharvari posted an emotional Instagram note thanking audiences for the overwhelming response to her new film Main Vaapas Aaunga. She wrote that seeing her work resonate, receiving messages, videos and tears, filled her “heart … very, very full,” and expressed gratitude for the love and support.

The period drama, directed by Imtiaz Ali and set against the 1947 Partition, stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah and Sharvari herself. It is produced by Applause Entertainment, Window Seat Films and Mohit Choudhary, and was released on 12 June 2023. Co‑star Vedang Raina and other cast members also responded to her post, praising her performance.

Sharvari emphasized that every actor hopes to be part of a story that stays with people after they leave the theatre, and thanked fans for carrying the film forward with their love.
