Shasivari questions Ali Ahmeti's stance on the Special Court

During a parliamentary session, Minister Jeton Shasivari challenged Deputy Ajdari to question Ali Ahmeti, leader of the BDI, regarding his previous strong lobbying for the establishment of the Special Court. Shasivari questioned why the BDI now deems the court unacceptable when its leader previously supported its formation and provided testimony to the Specialist Chambers.

Publicist Kim Mehmeti noted that the recent convictions by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague could potentially lead to investigations involving former leaders of the KLA in North Macedonia. Mehmeti suggested that because some leaders in North Macedonia held roles within the broader KLA structures, there may be grounds for legal scrutiny, though he expressed hope that such actions would not occur.
