Shaun Micallef's Origin Odyssey Season 2 Returns to SBS in August

Season two of Shaun Micallef’s factual‑entertainment series Origin Odyssey will premiere on SBS on Tuesday, 18 August 2026 at 7:30 pm. The six‑episode run follows Micallef and six Australian guests—Pia Miranda, Denise Scott, Matt Okine, Luke McGregor, Kate Langbroek and Tony Armstrong—as they travel to ancestral homelands in Italy, Germany, Ghana, Scotland, Jamaica and Ireland.

The series explores identity, migration and family history, blending comedy with personal storytelling. Episodes will be broadcast weekly on SBS and made available shortly after on SBS On Demand, with subtitles in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese.
