Shaun White announces Snow League season two debut in Park City

Olympic snowboarding legend Shaun White has announced that the Snow League will bring its second season to Park City Mountain Resort in January. During a keynote address at the Park City Chamber of Commerce’s Fall Tourism Forum, White discussed his efforts to establish a professional platform for snowboarders and freeskiers.

The upcoming competition is scheduled for January 21 to 23 and will serve as the season's quarterfinals. The event will feature elite halfpipe athletes competing in a 22-foot halfpipe that resort staff have been preparing throughout the summer. White cited Park City’s history of snowboarding innovation, local enthusiasm, and favorable weather as primary reasons for selecting the location.

The Snow League held its inaugural season with events in Aspen, Colorado, Yunding Secret Garden, China, and LAAX, Switzerland. The Park City event is expected to fill a programming gap in the local winter calendar following the departure of the Sundance Film Festival.
