Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspects reconstructed Turon Stadium in Nukus

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Nukus in Karakalpakstan to inspect the reconstructed Turon Stadium. The project, valued at 118.6 billion soums, has increased the stadium's capacity from 9,300 to 12,000 seats.

The facility serves as the base for the Aral Professional Football Club and hosts 190 trainees from the Republic Football Academy. The complex includes two sports halls, two additional stadiums, a 196-seat dormitory, an 84-seat canteen, and specialized rooms for tactical analysis and training. It also provides facilities for athletics, boxing, and taekwondo.

During his visit, the President also walked through a modern 24/7 active street in Nukus, engaging in informal conversations with local residents, including families and the elderly.
