Shawn Mendes and Bruna Marquezine attend Milan Fashion Week

Canadian singer Shawn Mendes and Brazilian actress Bruna Marquezine made their first major professional appearance as a couple during Milan Fashion Week, attending a Gucci show in Italy.

In an interview with Vogue, Mendes discussed his current life phase, stating he is focusing on “building a life, a community, and a home outside of my career.” He credited Marquezine with changing his relationship with fashion, noting that she “really opened my heart to fashion and to having fun with it.” Mendes also reflected on the differences in how men and women are scrutinized regarding public appearance in the industry.

The couple, who publicly confirmed their relationship in August 2026, have spent time in both Rio de Janeiro and Los Angeles. Mendes indicated that his future plans include spending time with family and working on a new album.
