Shawn Michaels discusses NXT roster turnover and talent development

Shawn Michaels, Senior Vice President of WWE Talent Development and NXT Creative, has addressed a period of significant roster turnover within the NXT brand. Michaels noted that over an eight-month span, the brand has seen an unusually high number of talents promoted to the Raw and SmackDown main rosters.

Despite the rebuilding process required by these departures, Michaels expressed pride in the roster's resilience. He highlighted the recent additions of Mike Santana, Grayson Waller, and Zilla Fatu as major boosts to the men’s division heading into the NXT Heatwave event.

Additionally, Michaels praised Jaida Parker for her professional evolution. He credited WWE legend Natalya for mentoring Parker, helping her transition from a charismatic performer to a more technical wrestler capable of executing complex moves like the Rings of Saturn. Parker and Natalya are scheduled to face each other in a Submission Match at NXT Heatwave.
