Ontario cultural events and theatre partnerships announced

Various cultural and historical events are scheduled across Ontario. In Sault Ste. Marie, the Sault Theatre Workshop and Algoma Repertory Theatre have formed a partnership. Algoma Repertory Theatre purchased a 50 per cent ownership of the Sault Theatre Workshop’s Studio Theatre on Pittsburg Avenue for $60,000, providing the latter with necessary funds while granting the former a permanent rehearsal space.

Additionally, a fall rendezvous is being held at the Ermatinger-Clergue National Historic Site in Sault Ste. Marie, featuring activities such as voyageur interpretation. In Petrolia, the Petrolia Discovery site will host its second annual Military History in Action event on October 3, featuring historic military vehicles, First World War reenactors, and vintage aircraft displays.
