Shazand Oil Refinery emphasizes firefighter readiness for production continuity

Habibollah Shahnazi, the Health, Safety, Environment, and Passive Defense Manager at the Shazand Oil Refinery, emphasized that the continuous production of the oil industry depends on the capability and readiness of firefighters.

During the opening of the seventh specialized operational readiness assessment for firefighters of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, Shahnazi noted that high-risk activities, such as entering confined spaces and performing hot work like welding, require strict safety compliance and the presence of firefighting teams. He stated that these competitions serve to increase operational readiness, which ultimately supports the continuity of production within the oil sector.
