SHB affirms operational stability and charter capital increase
Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) has addressed market rumors by affirming that its business operations remain continuous, safe, and stable. The bank emphasized that its financial management and operational plans are being implemented in full compliance with legal regulations.
SHB is currently proceeding with a charter capital increase to 53,442 billion VND, a plan previously approved by its General Meeting of Shareholders and the State Bank of Vietnam. The bank has completed the required stock offering and issuance procedures, with results confirmed by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam. The newly issued shares have been registered with the Vietnam Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation.
SHB has submitted documentation to the State Bank of Vietnam to amend its charter capital as recorded in its establishment and operation license. Once the State Bank of Vietnam records the increase, the bank will complete additional listing procedures. As of June 30, 2026, SHB reported a book value of 16,360 VND per share, which the bank noted is significantly higher than its current market price.
