She Arts festival to launch in Egypt this October

The She Arts international festival is scheduled to take place from October 1 to October 4, 2026. Held under the theme ‘Voices of Peace – A Global Symphony,’ the event will be centered at the American University in Cairo’s Cultural Editing Center, with parallel activities in Alexandria.

The festival program includes a visual arts exhibition titled ‘Voices Made Visible’ at the Margie Fion Gallery, followed by musical performances featuring Portuguese Fado, various international artists from the Czech Republic, Indonesia, Italy, Poland, India, and Japan, as well as local Egyptian talent.

In addition to musical concerts, the festival will host film screenings followed by discussions and several artistic workshops and masterclasses covering topics such as Fado traditions, music-to-image transformation, live looping, and voice acting.
