Shea Wittcomb hits home run in San Francisco Giants debut period

Shea Wittcomb, a Korean-American infielder who previously played for the South Korean national team in the World Baseball Classic, recorded his first hits since joining the San Francisco Giants. In a game against the Cincinnati Reds at Oracle Park, Wittcomb went 2-for-4 with two RBIs, including a two-run home run in the sixth inning.

Wittcomb was recently called up from Triple-A Sacramento to fill roster gaps caused by injuries to several Giants players. Despite Wittcomb's offensive contributions, the Giants suffered a 9-10 loss after allowing seven runs in the top of the ninth inning.
