Sheetz announces bulk DEF discount for Truck Driver Appreciation Month

As part of Truck Driver Appreciation Month, Sheetz is offering a bulk Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) discount of $1.99 per gallon at 55 participating locations through September 30. The promotion is available across the company's seven-state footprint for My Sheetz Rewardz members.

Other incentives include free commercial diesel hats at 59 locations for drivers purchasing high-flow diesel, and free made-to-order food or beverages for customers who pump 100 gallons of high-flow diesel through October 27.

In related industry news, the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) named Frito-Lay Transportation driver Joann McNabb a ‘TCA Highway Angel’ for her actions during a medical emergency on Interstate 94 in Michigan. McNabb assisted a fellow driver who was operating a semi-truck erratically before the vehicle struck a barrier.
