Sheffield United miss out on defender Nicolas Valentini as Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani eyed by Valencia

Sheffield United’s pursuit of 25‑year‑old centre‑back Nicolas Valentini fell through after journalist Fabrizio Romano reported the player will join Spanish La Liga side Alavés from Fiorentina. Valentini, who has not yet debuted for the Serie A club, spent last season on loan at Hellas Verona and was expected to bolster Sheffield’s defence for the 2026/27 Championship campaign.

Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani, also 25, is being linked with a return to Valencia. After a loan spell in Spain and limited impact at Leeds, the Belgian’s future is uncertain, and Valencia’s interest could materialise if a suitable fee is agreed.
