Shehbaz Sharif blames hostile nations for terrorism in Balochistan and KP

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that hostile foreign countries are behind the terrorism occurring in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking at a workshop in Islamabad, Sharif emphasized that the people of Balochistan hold the primary right to the province's natural resources, describing it as one of Pakistan's wealthiest regions.

Sharif advocated for resolving regional issues through dialogue, consultation, and the equitable distribution of resources, noting that those who resort to violence cannot represent the Pakistani people. He highlighted ongoing development efforts, including the construction of the N-25 highway from Karachi to Chaman and the provision of solar systems to farmers. He also noted that the Punjab government has allocated Rs11 billion to support Balochistan.

Regarding infrastructure, the Prime Minister highlighted the strategic importance of Gwadar Port, which he described as a gift from China, noting its capacity to accommodate vessels of up to 100,000 metric tons.
