Shehbaz Sharif condemns Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss recent Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia. Sharif condemned the strikes targeting Saudi citizens and economic infrastructure, expressing full solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people.

The Prime Minister characterized the Houthi actions as a threat to regional peace and security, noting their potential to disrupt the global economy and energy supplies. He stated that efforts to reduce tension and establish peace in the region would continue in coordination with military and government officials.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s steadfast support for Saudi Arabia and its efforts toward regional stability. Both leaders agreed to maintain close contact and expressed a desire for a formal meeting in the near future.
