Shehbaz Sharif orders 24/7 construction of Daanish Schools

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed authorities to accelerate the construction of Daanish Schools across Pakistan, ordering round-the-clock work to ensure projects are completed on schedule. During a review meeting in Lahore, the prime minister emphasized that these institutions are a long-term investment in the country’s future, specifically designed to provide quality education to talented children from disadvantaged and low-income backgrounds.

To modernize the curriculum, Sharif instructed officials to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and information technology (IT) into teaching and training methods. He also mandated independent third-party validation of school infrastructure and services to maintain high standards.

Regarding expansion, the prime minister called for improved road access to schools in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and requested a strategy for establishing schools in the merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He reiterated that admissions to the Daanish Schools must remain strictly merit-based.
