Shehbaz Sharif to visit US for UN General Assembly

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit the United States next month to attend the United Nations General Assembly session, which is set to begin on September 8. During the visit, the Prime Minister is expected to hold meetings with various world leaders on the sidelines of the assembly.

In recent remarks regarding domestic issues, Shehbaz Sharif addressed the challenges in Balochistan, advocating for dialogue to resolve regional tensions. He emphasized that the people of the province have the primary right to its resources and called for a transition from violence to peace. He further alleged that hostile nations are providing resources to infiltrators, contributing to the instability that has cost the lives of Pakistani soldiers.
