Actress and singer Shehnaaz Gill experienced a medical scare while filming the Punjabi romantic period drama ‘Ishqnama’. During a scene where she was running, her nose ring came loose and she accidentally swallowed it.

A behind-the-scenes video shared by Gill shows her coughing and appearing distressed following the incident. Her co-star, Saurabh Sachdeva, was seen assisting her by patting her back to help her recover. Gill later posted the footage to her social media accounts, noting that fans had been requesting to see the moment.

Directed by Arvindr Khaira, ‘Ishqnama’ stars Gill and Jayy Randhawa. The film follows the story of a Sikh student and poet who falls in love with a Muslim girl from Pakistan. While the incident caused concern among her followers, Gill has since confirmed she is okay.
