Sheikh Ali al-Khatib invited to sponsor Hassan Nasrallah book launch

Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council, has been invited to sponsor the launch of the book ‘Kalamat min Nur’ (Words of Light). The book, which features the words of the late Hassan Nasrallah, is scheduled to be released on September 28 by the Islamic Foundation for Education and Teaching (Al-Mahdi Schools).

During a meeting with representatives from Al-Mahdi Schools, officials discussed the challenges facing the educational institution following Israeli military actions. They noted that the Al-Mahdi school in Bint Jbeil, which served 1,200 students, was destroyed, and reported that 2,000 parents of students were killed during the aggression.

Sheikh al-Khatib emphasized that the current conflict is not merely military but a ‘civilizational war’ targeting cultural and educational identity. The leadership of Al-Mahdi Schools expressed their commitment to continuing their educational mission under the theme of ‘Continuity, Challenge, and Steadfastness’ despite ongoing regional tensions.
