Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid urges focus on work over criticism

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has shared reflections on the necessity of enduring criticism in public service. In a social media post on X, he noted that pursuing unconventional ideas or building things that people are not accustomed to often attracts criticism from those with narrow-minded views or a lack of foresight.

He emphasized that seeking universal approval can hinder progress, stating, “If you seek the complete approval of people, then say nothing. . do nothing. . and be nothing.” He urged individuals to focus on doing what is right and moving in the correct direction rather than being preoccupied with external opinions.
