Shein targets $40‑$50 billion valuation in Hong Kong IPO

Fast‑fashion retailer Shein is preparing to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange after previous attempts to float shares in New York and London failed. The company received approval from Hong Kong’s listing committee, clearing the final procedural step before investor roadshows and book‑building can begin. Shein is seeking a valuation of about $40 billion to $50 billion, roughly half of the $100 billion valuation it achieved in a 2022 funding round, and aims to launch its Hong Kong debut within weeks.
