Sheldon Creed wins NASCAR O'Reilly race at Darlington

Sheldon Creed secured his second career NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series victory at Darlington Raceway, winning the Fleetio 200. Driving the No. 00 Chevrolet for the Haas Factory Team, Creed took the lead on Lap 94 following a pit road stop and led the final 53 laps to finish 2.961 seconds ahead of runner-up Corey Day.

The win serves as a significant momentum builder for Creed as the nine-race Chase for the championship begins. Following the race, Creed moved to second in the championship standings, trailing leader Justin Allgaier by only seven points.

Creed noted that while the car's performance was initially unsatisfactory during the first run, adjustments made by crew chief Jonathan Toney and the team allowed him to compete for the win. Creed expressed particular satisfaction with winning at Darlington, a track where he had previously faced near-misses.
