Seafoam Labs has released two updates for Shelly ALPM, a visual GTK4 package manager for Arch Linux, within a 24-hour period. The version 3.1.5 release introduces several major features, most notably an optional AUR browser powered by Atoll. This browser allows users to search, sort, and browse paginated AUR package listings directly within the graphical interface.

Version 3.1.5 also adds a native build-and-install command that automates dependency fetching, compilation, and installation into a single workflow. The update includes significant improvements to the native package builder, offering better compatibility for complex packages and more predictable build environments through controlled PATH handling. Additionally, a new command family, shelly repo-db, was introduced to allow users to manage pacman-compatible repository databases directly.

A follow-up patch, version 3.1.6, was released on September 26 to address a UI bug related to CLI command fetching.
