Shelly Group Completes Full Acquisition of Slovenian IoT Unit Shelly Tech

Shelly Group SE, a Sofia‑based provider of IoT and smart‑building solutions, exercised a call option on 28 July 2026 to purchase the remaining 24 % of its Slovenian subsidiary Shelly Tech for €948,939.02. The deal finalises a process that began with an option agreement in January 2023, giving Shelly Group 100 % ownership of the Nova Gorica‑based company.

The acquisition is intended to streamline operations, boost product development and deepen the group’s presence in Central and Eastern Europe. Shelly Group, listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange and Frankfurt’s Prime Standard (SDAX component), serves customers in more than 100 countries and generates revenue from devices and cloud services.
