Shen Po-yang challenges Chiang Wan-an to municipal policy debates

Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Taipei mayoral candidate Shen Po-yang has issued multiple challenges to incumbent Mayor Chiang Wan-an to engage in public policy debates. Shen has expressed interest in discussing critical urban issues, including child abuse prevention, transportation, and long-term city vision. He has also indicated plans to conduct cross-party courtesy visits to former mayors, including Chen Shui-bian, Ma Ying-jeou, and Ko Wen-je.

DPP Kaohsiung mayoral candidate Lai Jui-lung also called for a debate regarding harbor renovation funding, a move criticized by some observers as a strategy to gain media attention.
