Shen Yu-lin pursues dream of becoming a news anchor

Comedian and entertainer Shen Yu-lin recently participated in a news broadcasting training session to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a news anchor. During the experience, Shen engaged in various challenges, including voice-over work, operating teleprompters, and conducting impromptu news reports.

Shen noted the significant pressure involved in news broadcasting compared to variety shows, emphasizing that factual accuracy is critical to avoid spreading misinformation. During the session, Shen jokingly mentioned a past living arrangement with veteran anchor Huang Wen-hua, later clarifying that they were simply neighbors in the same community during a difficult period in Shen's career.

Following the training, Huang Wen-hua praised Shen's progress and screen presence. Shen expressed a sense of achievement in completing the challenge, despite the inherent anxiety of the role.
