Shenandoah University expands academic programs for 2026-27

Shenandoah University has announced the expansion of its academic offerings for the 2026-27 academic year. The university will introduce three new master’s degrees, two undergraduate certificates, and several new minors.

New graduate programs include a Master of Science in nutrition and dietetics, as well as two fully online Master of Arts programs in teaching and strategic narrative communication. Undergraduate certificate programs will be offered in communication science and disorders, and air traffic control.

Additionally, the university is adding new minors in human-computer interaction, actuarial science, arts, creativity and expression, and environmentally sustainable enterprise. Provost Karen Abraham stated that these programs are designed to meet high-demand industry needs and prepare students for rapidly evolving professional landscapes.
