Shendy Heryadi launches skate school as Melly Goeslaw praises youth talent

Former racer Shendy Heryadi, once known as the boyfriend of late Indonesian singer Nike Ardilla, has left motor‑sport behind and now runs Shendy Skate School, where he coaches skateboarders and operates a local clothing line. He has also settled into family life after years out of the public eye.

Musician and DPR member Melly Goeslaw recently toured several Indonesian regions, meeting schoolchildren who performed poetry, dance and martial‑arts demonstrations. She said she was moved by their confidence and urged the government to ensure equal educational opportunities so that all children can develop their talents.
