Shenyang hosts Northeast Asia Professional Exchange Conference

The 2026 Northeast Asia (Shenyang) Conference on Exchange of Professionals and the AI-Empowered Industrial Development Conference opened on October 17 at the China Industrial Museum. Under the theme ‘Pooling Global Talent for a Revitalized Future,’ the event focuses on attracting talent in key sectors, promoting AI-driven industrial growth, and accelerating the commercialization of scientific achievements.

This year’s conference featured 56,000 high-quality job opportunities provided by 2,627 organizations. Notably, 11,000 of these positions—representing 19.6% of the total—are specifically targeted at international students, marking an 8.3 percentage point increase from the previous event. For the first time, the platform included recruitment from foreign companies based in Germany, the Netherlands, and France, as well as investors from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan.

Artificial intelligence served as a central theme, with discussions and job listings covering algorithm research, embodied intelligence, and generative AI. The program also addressed AI applications in aerospace, intelligent manufacturing, and bioengineering, alongside an ‘AI + OPC’ forum designed to support entrepreneurship for returning overseas talent.
