Shenzhen restaurant accused of doxxing customer after anonymous review

A consumer in Shenzhen reported that after posting an anonymous negative review for the restaurant Pangge Liangia (胖哥俩肉蟹煲), the business exposed his personal information during an appeal process on a delivery platform. The leaked details included his dining photos, workplace information, and a partially masked phone number.

The customer had given low ratings for food portion, service attitude, and environment. In the merchant's appeal materials, the restaurant specifically identified the customer as an employee of KFC, a detail the restaurant's customer service claimed was determined by observing his work uniform. The restaurant has stated that it has reported the matter to the police.
