Shenzhen tech expos showcase AI computing and wearable breakthroughs

At the 27th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen, semiconductor unicorn Guanglian Xinke unveiled several self-developed optical interconnect technologies. Key highlights include the “ZW1000” series, a world-first maskless programmable silicon photonics lithography machine designed to solve manufacturing yield issues for micro-ring modulators. The company also debuted the “GC1000” 3.2T MR-NPO optical engine and 8-inch GaAs quantum dot wafers, aiming to provide high-bandwidth, low-latency solutions for large-scale AI computing clusters.

Simultaneously, at the Shenzhen International VR/AR Expo (SIVA), Sharge’s Loomos L1 AI smart glasses were awarded “Best AI Shooting Glasses of the Year.” The device focuses on first-person perspective recording, integrating edge AI computing for real-time scene recognition and intelligent video editing, marking a shift in the AI wearable market toward consumer-focused practical applications.
