Sher-e-Punjab T20 League squads finalized after auction

The squads for the 2026 Sher-e-Punjab T20 League have been finalized following a recent player auction. Six franchises—Fazilka Falcons, Amritsar Soormas, Bathinda Royals, Jalandhar Warriors, Ludhiana Lions, and Mohali Kings—have completed their rosters.

All-rounder Sanvir Singh was the most expensive player at the auction, secured by the Fazilka Falcons for Rs 13.20 lakh. He will play alongside marquee player and Indian captain Shubman Gill. Other significant signings include Naman Dhir for the Amritsar Soormas at Rs 10.80 lakh and Amolpreet Singh for the Mohali Kings at Rs 8.20 lakh.

The league features several marquee players, including Abhishek Sharma, Arshdeep Singh, Prabhsimran Singh, Ramandeep Singh, and Gurnoor Brar, each signed for Rs 10 lakh. According to Punjab Cricket Association President Amarjit Singh Mehta, the tournament is designed to provide cricketers from across Punjab the opportunity to compete at the PCA Stadium in Mohali and gain professional exposure.
