Sheriff Country plot developments involve cartel manhunt and drug crisis

In upcoming episodes of the CBS series ‘Sheriff Country’, Sheriff Mickey Fox faces a dual crisis involving a violent cartel and a lethal new drug. The Stoyanov cartel is actively kidnapping individuals in Deadwater and distributing drugs described as more dangerous than fentanyl. The cartel has targeted Mickey’s associates and her father, Wes Fox, who was kidnapped after working with federal agents on an undercover mission.

Simultaneously, a new substance known as ‘cyclone’ is spreading through the Edgewater college community. The drug, which resembles paper, has caused multiple teenage overdoses. Mickey is working to combat a sex trafficking ring used to facilitate the drug trade and is navigating strained relationships with her estranged parents while managing the fallout from her previous association with a corrupt DEA agent.
