Sheriff Country season 2 to premiere on CBS in October

CBS will premiere the second season of ‘Sheriff Country’ on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 8pm ET/PT. The season opener, titled ‘Cyclone’, follows Sheriff Mickey Fox as she deals with family revelations and a criminal threat in Edgewater.

Ben McKenzie will guest star as Sheriff Wade, a neighboring official who assists Mickey Fox. The series stars Morena Baccarin as the lead, alongside Matt Lauria, W. Earl Brown, Christopher Gorham, and Michele Weaver.

Baccarin, who portrays the Edgewater sheriff, has previously appeared in notable productions including ‘Firefly’, ‘Homeland’, ‘Gotham’, and the ‘Deadpool’ franchise.
