Mexican actress Sherlyn has addressed recent public attention regarding her son André, following an incident where the child revealed details about his mother’s romantic life on camera. Sherlyn remarked that the boy’s comments acted as a “good pruning” (buena podada) among her suitors, as it helped filter out those who could not handle the innocence of a child’s remarks.

André reportedly told his mother he made the comments because he “wanted to go viral.” Sherlyn emphasized that she is currently happy with the life she has built with her son and is content being single, noting that any future partner would need to add value to their existing bond.

Additionally, the actress defended her decision to share her son’s life on social media. She explained that her choice to make her pregnancy and motherhood public was intentional and has become a natural part of their family dynamic. While acknowledging the risks of exposing minors online, she stated that André has grown up accustomed to the public eye and that hiding him now would be inconsistent with her established transparency.
