Sherry Adel escapes injury in car accident en route to Hurghada festival

Egyptian actress Sherry Adel was involved in a car accident on Wednesday evening while traveling to Hurghada to participate in the Hurghada Youth Film Festival. The incident occurred in the Ras Gharib area of the Red Sea Governorate after one of her vehicle's tires exploded or suffered a puncture.

Local police responded to the scene to ensure her safety and secure the area. Mohamed El Basousi, president of the Hurghada Youth Film Festival, confirmed that Adel was uninjured and was on her way to her hotel. Adel later reassured her fans via Facebook that she was fine and expressed her gratitude to the Red Sea security directorate for their rapid assistance.

Adel is scheduled to be honored during the opening ceremony of the festival's fourth edition in recognition of her career in cinema and drama, which includes approximately 15 films and 40 television works.
