Sheryl Crow releases new single ‘Freight Train’

Singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow has released a new single titled ‘Freight Train’ from her upcoming twelfth studio album, ‘Pick You Up’. The album is scheduled for release on October 9.

‘Freight Train’ is a mid-tempo track featuring soft guitar melodies that explores themes of universal loneliness and human connection. The album, which consists of seven tracks, was co-written by Crow and her long-time collaborator Jeff Trott. The project marks a return to the Americana, rock, and singer-songwriter sounds that defined much of her career.

This release follows the August single ‘Freedom Bus’, featuring Jesse Welles. Crow described the new music as deeply personal and introspective, aiming to provide hope and connection to listeners amidst a chaotic world.
