Shiba Inu exchange reserves tumble as spot inflows rise but price stays under EMA resistance

Over the past ten days, roughly 1.4 quadrillion Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens have been removed from exchanges, lowering total exchange reserves to about 86.48 quadrillion. The outflow indicates investors shifting tokens to private wallets, which could ease immediate selling pressure.

At the same time, weekly spot inflows have surged by about 60%, with recent net inflows of $43,400 in the past hour, $77,100 over four hours and $77,900 over twelve hours. The average seven‑day exchange inflow is up 8.25%, suggesting renewed buying activity even as overall exchange net flow slipped slightly.

Despite these dynamics, SHIB’s price remains below key exponential moving averages: the 20‑day EMA near $0.00000440, the 50‑day EMA $0.00000464, the 100‑day EMA $0.00000518 and the 200‑day EMA $0.00000623. The Relative Strength Index hovers around 35, approaching oversold conditions, but a confirmed breakout above these resistance levels has not occurred.
